REGIONAL COUNSELING SERVICES & INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM

Regional Counseling Services is a CARF accredited, Department of Public Health licensed co-occurring clinic providing outpatient substance abuse and mental health services to adult men and women.

TREATMENT SERVICES
Listed below are the components of our treatment services:

  • Substance Abuse Evaluations: Bio-psychosocial assessments that help form a holistic clinical picture of the client.

  • Mental Health Evaluations: Comprehensive mental health assessments completed by master’s level clinicians

  • Substance Abuse Treatment: Individual Therapy, Intensive Outpatient, Marijuana and Coping Skills Groups using evidence-based treatment

  • Mental Health Treatment: Offered through the services of an on-site psychiatrist and individual therapy with a clinician.

  • Counseling Services for Problem Gamblers: Treatment may include individual therapy and incorporates financial counseling.

Specialized groups such as Anger Management and groups with a co-occurring focus are developed based on need. Treatment is offered to family members as well in the context of family therapy.

TARGET POPULATION
Regional Counseling Services accepts men and women ages 18 and older with substance abuse only or mental health issues only as well as those with co-occurring issues.

INTEGRATED CARE
Treatment services are focused on the provision of quality integrated care to address co-occurring substance and mental health issues. Services include:

  • Case Management and assertive linkages to detox or long term inpatient services

  • Educational programming comprised of lectures, videos and speakers with a specific focus on integrated care for substance abuse and mental health issues

  • Crisis Intervention

  • HIV information and referrals

  • Alcohol and drug screening by urinalysis

  • Continuing care through effective transition and discharge planning

Evidence-based treatments known to be effective for co-occurring integrated care are central to the services provided.

INTERDISCIPLINARY TEAM

The interdisciplinary team has extensive experience in dealing with substance abuse, mental health, gambling and co-occurring disorder treatment issues.

Referrals:
The clinic accepts walk-ins and referrals from other agencies such as DCF-Project Safe, Court Support Services and Federal and State probation.

Insurances: SAGA, Title 19, Husky A Bluecare and CHN.  In addition, we have a sliding scale for clients without insurance benefits.
