Outpatient Services
Regional Counseling Services provides traditional outpatient services. These services are available at two locations in Bridgeport. Both sites are licensed and accredited to provide substance abuse treatment. One site holds an additional license to provide psychiatric treatment. Counselors are experienced and certified in dealing with substance abuse, mental health, gambling and co-occurring disorder issues. In addition, they provide assessment, information and referral.
Persons, who wish to receive help with substance abuse and mental health issues, and who are adults over the age of 18 may be seen at either 480 Bond Street or at 1549 Fairfield Avenue. The offices are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00PM. Services include individual, family, and group therapy during the day or evening as well as an intensive outpatient program which meets 9 hours per week.
